The Boys Basketball team defeated Mayfield in a tough game last night, 75-71 in overtime.  After trailing by 4 at halftime, the Panthers took the lead following a 21 point third quarter.  The teams were tied at 66 at the end of regulation.

Team leaders for the Panthers were Senior Xavier Vann (17 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals), Junior Rodney Smith (15 points, 10/16 free throws), and Senior Michael Moore (8 points, 5 rebounds).

The Panthers Freshman Basketball team also pulled out a victory over Mayfield, 40-36.  Leading scorers were Camren West (14 points) and Javier Perry (8 points).
