Varsity Volleyball took care of business on Senior Night, defeating Cornerstone in straight sets.
The Seniors were a main factor in the outcome of the match:
Charli Coleman: 10 kills, 2 aces
Ava Longstreet: 6 digs
Aniya Nevels-Hill: 7 assists, 1 ace, 5 kills
India Wilkerson: 3 blocks, 1 kill, 5 digs
Other outstanding players were Tatiana Maddox (5 blocks, 5 kills),
Comyah Roberts (3 blocks, 16 assists),
Samiah Creer (3 aces, 6 digs) and
Jameecia Johnson (2 aces, 5 digs and 1 kill). Emari McMahon also recorded her first Varsity assist.
The JV Volleyball team also picked up their first win of the season to complete the sweep.
The teams will wrap up their regular season by traveling to West Geauga today. The Varsity team will face off against Eastlake North on October 19th to open the Playoffs.
