The Panther boys basketball team traveled to Medina on Friday December 10th to take on their first GCC opponent of the season. In an incredibly exciting game, The Panthers fell short by a final score of 69-62. 

After falling behind early 9-, Euclid stormed back behind the hot shooting of senior guard Clayton Cunningham. Cunningham would score 21 first half points to pull the Panthers back into the game and head into halftime tied at 29-29. The second half was a back and forth game as both teams traded the lead multiple times. Medina was able to pull away late and make key free throws to keep the Panthers from being able to tie the game. Cunningham would end the game with a new career high 41 points for Euclid. 

The Panthers took their first loss of the year and fall to 3-1 (0-1, GCC) on the young season. 

Tuesday's game vs. Garfield has been postponed, and the next scheduled game for Euclid is Friday December 17th at Mentor.
